Even if the enemy wants to convince you otherwise, your Father holds you.
He is a strong tower for all who seek refuge in Him.”
These words my close friend shared with me, couldn’t be any truer. In that moment, I was feeling a mix of emotions; I was distraught, overwhelmed, and sad. But when I read these words, I felt a wave of hope come over me. I realized that I was trying to do it all alone. And God never planned for us to walk alone.
Even though I was going through a difficult situation, my Heavenly Father was still holding me in His hands. I ran to that strong tower and once again, I found refuge under the shadow of His wings. Just because God was allowing me to walk through a valley, didn’t mean that He wasn’t walking next to me.
Let us never forget that He loves us with an eternal love. As we journey through life, He will reassure us over and over again that His love can overcome our fears. The enemy will constantly fill our minds with doubts but we must remember that we are strong in Christ! The storm will come. The doubt and pain will be present. Yet, like the loving Father He is, God will carry us through and He will hold us close.
Run to the Tower! He is waiting for you with open arms!
