BEAUTY FROM ASHES

I admit, I’m totally new at this blogging business. But as much as it is a challenge, I know that it will also be a blessing.

Many are wondering who am I, what do I do for a living….why am I blogging??!

Who am I?

• I’m a simple girl to be honest. I love dark chocolate, I enjoy evening strolls, I prefer tea to coffee (no offense to the coffee-lovers out there), I’m a firm believer that you are what you eat, I’m a big-time bookworm (life is meaningless without books!), I’m involved with children’s missions and the evangelism team in my church, I’m an introvert, my favorite authors are Amy Carmichael, Elisabeth Elliot, and Charles Spurgeon, my favorite verse in the Bible is Isaiah 43:1-2….and, I have come to realize that I am nothing without God’s abundant grace and strength.

What do I do for a living?

• I’m an English tutor, a piano teacher, and currently a med student.

Why am I blogging?

• Oh, dear. Good question. Well, in all honesty, it’s not for personal gain. I believe that God has placed on me a burden to share my personal experiences with those who need encouragement. I chose the title BEAUTY FOR ASHES mainly because recently God has been speaking to me that, even though when all hope is lost, He is still in control and has something so much better planned for us. We just have to believe and wait for God to bring forth life out of death in our lives. I pray that this website be of a great blessing to your life.
